The Open Party is for those who'd like to enjoy a fantastic evening of reeling without being in a group or party of friends. Typically this is true of new reelers who might wish to attend their first ball, for example. As a member of the Open Party, you can rest assured that you'll have plenty of partners to sign up to your dance card, from within the Open Party. We have run Open Parties at all Reel Thing Ball events since 2018 and they've always been very popular with often more than 30 reelers on board.

The event will feature a full programme of reels with the thrilling music from a Frank Reid Big Band, plus Prosecco, some wine, and our now-revered bacon or veggie rolls in the interval. With carriages not until 1.30am you will have plenty of time to dance and socialise with friends.
