Yes, we’ll be serving delicious bacon butties (with vegan/veggie and GF options) as a snack during the evening. However, we do recommend that guests have a bite to eat before the Ball. While we don’t offer a sit-down meal at The Reel Thing, as our focus is on maximising dancing time, there will be a bar and tables in the venue where you can relax and enjoy the evening at your own pace.

In a word, "Yes!". You don't need to be the world's best reeler (this is not Strictly-Come-Reeling!) but you will be expected to have a good grasp of the main reels. If you need to get some practice in beforehand, check out @londonreels_ or @pgt_reels for their upcoming dates. And then YOU will enjoy it so much more :-) 💃🕺

All ticket buyers will be contacted in mid October and asked where you would like your dance cards to be sent to, in advance of the Ball. We can send these via Royal Mail so that you and your party can fill them in before you arrive at the Ball.
Alternatively, you can choose to collect them on the night at the venue and fill them in at the drinks reception before the first dance.
The choice is yours!

Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable. However, you can transfer or sell your ticket to somebody else if you are unable to attend. As long as they know how to reel!

The Reel Thing Ball is first and foremost a reeling ball – but like no other you’ve experienced.
We take the very best of Scottish reeling and supercharge it: exhilarating dances to outstanding live music from the phenomenal Supergrouse band in one of London’s most spectacular venues.Then comes the twist that makes us legendary: instead of a quiet 45-minute interval, the stage explodes into life with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, the world’s most celebrated bagpipe band, delivering a blistering halftime concert that will have the whole room buzzing.
When the reels return, the energy doesn’t let up – and for the grand finale, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers join Supergrouse for a Reel of the 51st that will go down in reeling folklore.
This is the reeling ball of the year – tradition, adrenaline, and spectacle rolled into one unforgettable night.
